LSMU Programmes Presented At The European Higher Education Virtual Fair In India

On November 27, LSMU Dean Professor Ingrida Janulevičienė presented studies at LSMU at the European Higher Education Virtual Fair (EHEVF) 2020 in India.

Many thanks to our student ambassador Merudham Elamurugan from India, who assisted during preparation for the fair and promotion of studies at LSMU.

studentambassador.png (376x240, 376x213)Following very successful EHEVF events held in India in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019, the Delegation of the European Union to India, in cooperation with EU Member States, organized a three-day virtual fair on 25–27 November 2020.

This initiative was designed to emphasize the many benefits of Europe as a high standard higher education destination to potential international students, researchers, and academics from all over India. More than 80 European higher education institutions from 21 EU Member States participated in the fair. About 10,000 students attended the event and took an active part in sessions.

LSMU webinar was one of the 60 webinars that focused on various subject fields and were delivered by experts from leading universities in Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, etc. Representatives of higher education institutions presented latest information and gave authentic advice to future students on how to make one’s way to their respective universities in the context of COVID-19.

Currently, there are 93 students from India studying in various programs at LSMU, 63 alumni, 21 students have just joined our University as freshmen this academic year out of 342 students admitted from 66 countries. EHEVF 2020 fair was an opportunity for LSMU to present bachelor and master degree programs to Indian youth yet planning their studies and future. A great interest was shown in BSc programs at LSMU.
