NOMINAL SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION 2019/2020

The competition is open to the students of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Public Health; students enrolled on the Veterinary Medicine degree programme at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Academy, and students of the Faculty of Animal Science

Students of the first and second cycles and students of integrated studies, starting with the third semester of their studies, wishing to participate in the Nominal Scholarship Competition must submit the following documents to the Student Council of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (address: A. Mickevičiaus g. 9, Kaunas or the post box No. 53, which is at the 0 floor, near the Career Centre), tel. (8-37) 327214, e-mail: info@lsmusa.lt) until 2 December 2019:

1. A request to participate in the nominal scholarship competition (a request addressed to the Rector);

2. A certificate, indicating the grade point average (GPA), approved by the Dean or a person appointed by the Dean;

3. A free-form curriculum vitae;

4. Documents supporting active participation in student activity and/or the need for support (students who have lost their parents (adoptive parents) or guardians, students with disabled parents (adoptive parents) or guardians, or students from large families);

5. Other documents supporting the achievements of a student (copies).

NOTE:

  1. The grade point average (GPA) must be not lower than 8.
  2. The scholarship is not awarded to students who have already been awarded a scholarship from other funds in year 2019/2020.

The meeting of the Nominal Scholarship Commission will take place in the Rectorate meeting room, located in the central building (A. Mickevičiaus g. 9) of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, on 5 December 2019, 2 p.m. Participation of applicants in the meeting of the Commission is compulsory.

 

The following scholarships will be awarded:

1. Lithuanian Science Support Dr. Juozas and Birutė Skrinskai Fund (for students of the Faculty of Medicine);

2. Prof. Juozas Kupčinskas Scholarship (for students of the Medicine study programme at the Faculty of Medicine);

3. Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis Scholarship (for students of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Public Health);

4. Juozas Olekas Scholarship (for a student of the Faculty of Medicine);

5. ‘Gintarinė vaistinė’ Scholarship (for IV-V year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy);

6. Veterinary Pharmacy Association Scholarship (for a student of the Veterinary Medicine study programme at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine);

7. ‘Vilkijos ūkis’ Scholarship (for a student of the Veterinary Medicine study programme at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and student of the Animal and Human Interaction (until 2018 Animal Science) study programme at the Faculty of Animal Science);

8. ‘Magnum Veterinarija’ Scholarship (for a student of the Veterinary Medicine study programme at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and student of the Animal Science (until 2018 Animal Husbandry Technology) study programme at the Faculty of Animal Science).
