Prospective Spanish Students Wish to Study Medicine at LSMU

Gintarė Diliūnienė and Laima Dobilienė, international programme coordinators at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU), have recently organized the entrance examination and met with the agents in Alicante. They also introduced the University and study programmes to the Alicante Lithuanian community and met Mr. Dainius Šriubša, the adviser at the Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania in Valencia.

All Spanish students applied for the Medicine study programme. On 8 July, 6 applicants successfully passed the LSMU entrance examination and were invited to study from the autumn. Students’ recruitment to the University was discussed with the Spanish agents. During the meeting, study programmes in English other than Medicine were discussed in order to find out the demand of them in Spain.

The University representatives met the members of the Alicante Lithuanian community. The community has just started it activities and was happy to get more information about study possibilities in Lithuanian and English at LSMU. Mr. Dainius Šriubša also joined this meeting. During the meeting, collaboration possibilities between the University and the Consulate were discussed. Mr. Dainius Šriubša kindly agreed to share the information about the University on the Consulate website.
