Successful Online PreMed courses
This fall, the Center for International Relations and Studies organized the traditional online PreMed Preparatory Courses - a 10-week study programme aimed at foreign students interested in studying at LSMU and wishing to deepen their knowledge of Chemistry and Biology.
6 participants from abroad (Sweden, Norway, and Ukraine) started the courses on 4th October. The online classes were given by LSMU professors: MA, MF Biochemistry department’s Assistant lecturer Svaja Dubickienė and VA, GMF Biology System and Genetic Research Institute’s lecturer Jelena Loginovič. Not only students had a chance to learn new things in Biology or Chemistry, but discovered more about LSMU as well.
4 participants have successfully passed the final exam on 10th December. 3 applicants were offered to study Medicine programme, 1- Odontology.
It is gratifying that not only the future students of LSMU are motivated curious young people who look responsibly at their studies and start preparing in advance, but these courses are becoming more and more popular and are being chosen by a growing number of young people as well.
