'VISIT LSMU' 2020 Shifts to Online Mode
The world has faced so many challenges during COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, it made us think of new ways to overcome those challenges.
VISIT LSMU is a traditional yearly event for student recruitment agencies organized by the International office at LSMU. Due to the pandemic, the event was moved to an online mode on 11th November. This way, participants from all over around the world could participate. We were so glad to see the representatives from India, Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Russia, UAE, Kenya, Lebanon and France.
The guests were greeted by the Dean of the International Office professor Ingrida Janulevičienė who delivered the presentation and latest news about LSMU, the challenges in studies during the pandemics. Other speakers talked about the updates in Admission, Erasmus+ programmes, Open days. A new programme – Medical and Veterinary Genetics- was introduced.
The event ended in mutually beneficial Questions&Answer session followed by a group photo of everyone. We are very happy to have received so many positive reviews from our participants. This will surely make us search for new ideas and make this event better and better.
