Call for Erasmus+ traineeships for 2015-2016! Become an Erasmus+ student!

The main selection criteria:

• Compatibility between the traineeship programmes at the receiving institution and LSMU (students can find a place for traineeship by themselves);
• Academic records (average of grades at LSMU);
• Good knowledge of foreign languages;
• Motivation for being trained abroad and communication skills.

Selection procedure

1. Online application.

Please read the instructions for application carefully and check the available places for traineeships

Application deadline:    26 March (if the language exam is needed)
                                      31 March (if the language exam is not needed)

2. Foreign language examination

International students do not need to sit an English language examination.
Students who wish to be trained in Germany or Austria should take a German language examination (for non-native speakers).
Students who wish to be trained in France or Switzerland should take a French language examination (for non-native speakers).

Date: 27 March 2015 (French at 1 p.m., German at 2 p.m.)
Place: Jankaus st. 2 (LSMU Department of Language and Education).

3. Interview with Erasmus+ commission

The motivation and communication skills of Erasmus+ candidates will be evaluated during an interview with the Erasmus+ commission.

Information regarding the interviews:

Date:         On 1 April, the interview for residency and PhD students in the field of medicine;
                  On 8 April, the interview for students enrolled in the programmes of the Faculty of Medicine;
                  On 10 April, the interview for students enrolled in the programmes of the Faculties of Pharmacy, Nursing, Odontology and Veterinary Medicine as well as residency and PhD students in the fields of odontology and veterinary medicine.

Place: All the interviews will be held in the Veterinary Academy (the main building), Tilžės str. 18, room 120, at 14:00. Students will be invited for the interview in an alphabetic order based on the first letter of the surname.
