Interest of Spanish and German youth in studies at LSMU

On 18 April in Madrid, Spain, international programmes coordinators Aušra Surantienė and Kęstutis Gasevičius organized the entrance examination to LSMU for Spanish and German graduates and presented the study programmes of the university.

A total of 14 students wishing to study medicine sat the entrance examination. Six of them successfully passed the entrance examination and were invited to study at LSMU. For those who were not successful but were highly motivated, it was recommended to improve the knowledge and resit the entrance examination later.

After the entrance examination and personal interview with each participant, the presentation on LSMU, Lithuania and Kaunas was given and students and their parents were answered to all relevant questions.

During the visit, issues about cooperation and student selection were also discussed with the representatives of successfully working Spanish students’ recruitment agency “Donde Estudiar”, which recruits more than 20 students to study at LSMU every year.
