LSMU Offers Studies in the Middle East

2016-07-22

The entrance examination session for applicants from Middle East countries took place in Beirut, Lebanon, during 14-16 July 2016. Two LSMU representatives – vice-dean of the International Relations and Study Centre Alvidas Šarlauskas and psychologist Jevgenij Razgulin – organised the entrance examination for 7 applicants. Three candidates were offered to study odontology, and two – medicine.

Two LSMU alumni Ali Chami and Hussein Kozayha, graduates from medicine and odontology programmes, joined an event and shared their experiences on their studies and life in general in Kaunas. A lot of questions were given to them by the applicants. Both graduates are successfully continuing their residency studies in Lebanon. Ali Chami is a resident doctor in general surgery at Makassed General Hospital in Beirut and Hussein Kozayha is enrolled in the residency programme in prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Beirut Arab University. Both of them are very happy to have a degree from LSMU as diplomas granted by LSMU are recognized and accepted in Lebanon. Knowledge and practical skills gained at LSMU let the alumni be successful in their further residency studies and work. Both graduates agreed to become the representatives of LSMU in Lebanon, who will guide candidates interested in studies at the University.
