LSMU Study Programmes Presented in Ireland

2017-03-01

On 15-18 February, the study fair and the meeting with prospective students of LSMU were organized by Dublin International Foundation College (DIFC).

LSMU and DIFC have been partners for several years. DIFC is an international school that provides secondary education and preparation courses that are recognised within Ireland and the United Kingdom.

More than 40 students attended the meeting with LSMU representatives. They were accompanied by Shaden Zuhairy, who is a graduate student of the Medicine study programme at LSMU. Shaden is performing her clinical medical practice in Northern Ireland and has agreed to share her experience as an LSMU student.  After the presentation, many students admitted that the attractive presentation of the university’s academic and social environment from the students’ point of view resulted in LSMU becoming one of the first choices for their studies in Europe.

A total of 28 candidates sat the entrance examination organised on 16 February. Of them, 3 were offered to study Pharmacy, 12 – Medicine, 1 – Odontology and 7 were placed on the waiting list.
