Scientific-practical conference held in Astana, Kazakhstan

The conference "New Possibilities in Diagnostics and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases" ("Новыевозможностидиагностики и лечениясердечнососудистыхзаболеваний") was held in 25-27 of September, 2013 in Astana (Kazakhstan). The conference was dedicated to cardiologists, anesthesiologists-reanimatologists, cardiac surgeons, specialists in diagnostic cardiac sonography, cardiac surgery and cardiac intensive care nurses and organized by the Lithuanian university of Health Sciences and National Scientific Medical Research Center.

The conference was organized by the Dean of the International Relations and Study Centre Žilvinas Padaiga  and international programme coordinators, Evelina Mačiulskienė and Gintarė Diliūnienė. The conference was led by Prof. RimantasBenetis; the presentations were made by the following eight professors: Dr. TadasLenkutis, Assoc. Prof. Aras Puodžiukynas, Assoc. Prof. Olivija Gustienė, Prof. Aušra Kavoliūnienė, Prof. EglėEreminienė, Dr. LoretaJankauskienė, Dr. JuditaAndrijaitienė and Dr. RenataVimantaitė.
