Student World Fair and Entrance Examination in London

International programme coordinators Aušra Surantienė, Evelina Mačiulskienė and Brigita Budriūtė were delegated to London, UK. The LSMU representatives participated in the Student World Fair, which took place between 27 and 28 March. The main aim of this event was to inform British students about the benefits of studying overseas as well as to introduce study programmes and conditions at our university, entrance requirements, etc. The LSMU stand has attracted a lot of schoolchildren interested in studies at LSMU.

During the first day, career advisers and marketing specialists introduced the application procedure and study loans in UK to fair participants. The programme of the second day was focused on schoolchildren who could learn more about possibilities for studying abroad and get useful information about participating universities. LSMU was represented as a unique university where students can study both medicine and veterinary medicine and as a perfect place to achieve a lot of practical knowledge.    

On 29 March, the entrance examination to LSMU was organised for applicants from UK. A total of 8 candidates sat the entrance examination and all of them were successful; 6 have applied to study medicine and 2 – odontology.
